
An Aerobic work out means “in the presence of oxygen”, and does not mean an “All Out” work out. An Aerobic work out will often take 20 minutes or more to complete. A Marathon more closely resembles an Aerobic work out, while Sprints and Weight Lifting resembles an Anaerobic work out.
Some benefits of aerobic exercise are: Faster metabolism, stronger cardiovascular system, lower risk of heart disease, lower body fat levels and many more. Some additional Aerobic activities include distance running/walking, swimming, cycling, stair-climbing, jumping, aerobic dance/step, rowing, skating, cross country skiing.
